As part of the home design service, Gold Coast Draftsman, Darren Bell will visit your home and check for important constraints, such as head room and access and discuss with you how you wish to lay the space out and what might need modification to ensure the converted space is compliant.

Conversions require a thorough measure of the space available. We use digital and laser surveying equipment combined with traditional measuring instruments to allow us to document and analyze the measured space then design a feasible proposal. In complex building situations we will recommend the use of a dedicated building surveyor to obtain the highest level of detail internally and externally.

• Build under conversion - You have a high set house with space under, claim this for more habitable rooms, storage or a garage.
• Garage Conversions - Claim the floor space you already have
• Out building conversion - Do you have a shed? It might be suitable for conversion to habitable space.
• Container conversion - A little tricker due to head room, however for workshops and storage units, they are instant buildings just requiring a design layout and dressing up.
